*Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!*

First, here are two of the awesome quilts that we made for Christmas presents this year. I think all the blood, sweat, and tears actually paid off!

Now, for the exciting news! Yesturday we got about 6 inches of snow! It was WONDERFUL! We woke up and ran to the window to see everything covered in white. The snow kept falling steadily until about 2 or 3 pm. We drove to the grocery store to get the last gallon of milk they had. Then, we drove over to Starbucks for some hot chocolate and found Laurie and Mom there! They had walked there! We took them home and then took the dogs on a walk. Gus was leaping around the street and yards. It was so fun. School is still cancelled for today, but it is sunny and bright. Good things never seem to last as long as you want them to!

* This one is hard because I got pretty much everything I could want for Christmas this year!
1. One day I will have a set of living room furniture that all matches and same for the bedroom.
2. All our family living close by...mine already is, but Curtis' too! So that we could visit and play more often.
3. Snow
4. To strike it rich with something Curtis invents.
5. More scrapbooking stuff: card stocks, pens, etc. (I got a good head start from the Christmas presents I got though).
6. To have better food storage.
7. Sleep
8. To be able to get back in shape quick for Mandy's wedding after I have our baby.

Christmas Comes But Once A Year!

We had such a wonderful time this year at Christmas!

Favorite Things About Christmas 2008:

*Spending time with family. Too many fun things to list with both the Anderson and Haynie clans!

* Being a dance teacher at Christmas time means you get lots of gifts from your students! I came home every night for a week with more and more chocolate, scarves, gift cards, and more!

* Teaching our Primary class more about the spirit of the season and about Jesus Christ.

* Making quilts for Noel, Ashley, Laurie, Mom and Dad. It was so fun to work on something together and to do something special for someone else.

* Noel graduating from college!

*Having our first Christmas tree of our very own and making ornaments to go on it with my mom and Ashley.

*Spending Christmas morning with Curtis in the wee hours of the day because we were too excited to sleep!

We feel so blessed this year and look forward to a 2009 full of exciting things!
