DIY Love {Easy Edible Playdough}

We have been soaking up the sun at the pool every morning and loving every minute of it!

However,

some days are just too hottttt.

That's why I love this quick and easy recipe for some indoor fun!

To make this edible play dough, all you need is:

~a box of cake mix

~a stick of butter

~about 4-5 tbsp. of water

Simple blend the cake mix and butter while slowly adding the water until it becomes the perfect consistency.

VOILA!

Endless indoor entertainment!

This was Ande's first play dough experience. He wasn't quite sure what to do with it. We got out the cookie cutters, but he'd much rather scoop up big chunks with his spoon.

At the time, he put some in his mouth and spit it right out which is surprising considering how tasty the stuff is.

(It wasn't until 2 hours later when he found the play dough in the trash can that he finally decided it was yummy to eat...)
I don't know which he enjoyed more, the play dough or treating the sink like a water park.

We continue our search for indoor activities on these smokin' hot summer days...
