Button Scarf

{The Button Scarf}

No, sadly, this adorable and creative little scarf was not made or designed by me.

I found a tutorial for this scarf over at .

My sister's birthday came around and I thought I'd try out the idea for her. I love the off set buttons that give this scarf a little flare. I also love the ruffles that she uses, but thought my 19 year old sister might not want something sooooo cutesy.

So, with my scrap teal jersey knit fabric, this is what I made:

(Please don't laugh at my horrible button holes...I'm working on it!)

(I'm not a huge fan of these orange buttons. I really wanted to use some bit brown, wood buttons or toggles but my budget only allowed me to use what I could scrounge up at home!)

I am pretty sure I will end up making some more of these for myself and others.
