our Easter happenings

I am feeling SO refreshed after our long Easter weekend. Curtis was able to stay home on Friday, which made it feel like we had double the Saturdays! We really didn't have any plans so we slept in, got some work done around the house and yard, and went on a fun walk through the woods in our neighborhood.

With all the craziness that comes with having a busy, working husband and three little dudes to manage, it is so wonderful to enjoy such a long weekend of pure family time! The boys enjoyed getting muddy in the beaver trails, climbing trees, playing with a tiny snake, making a home for worms in a jar, and chowing down on Easter candy before Curtis and I were even awake!

We also got to celebrate Easter by watching general conference, which is where leaders of the LDS church speak and give inspiring messages. For this, we were able to enjoy watching and feeling uplifted with friends and family. There was such an emphasis on building up our families in the talks this year and I feel so blessed to know that I get to be with mine forever.

How did you spend your holiday weekend?
