crochet love {yes yes shawl}

I teased this shawl on my Instagram account about a week ago. It didn't take as long to make as I thought, which is great because I am so in love with this thing!

I have been searching for a great spring/summer shawl or scarf for a few weeks. I found the pattern for this one on Ravelry, and it was just perfect.

It is called the Yes Yes Shawl by Bernat. I still haven't figured out why it is named that. There are some weird names in the crochet/knitting pattern world. Seriously. Sometimes I'm just so confused.

But anyways, I loved this pattern! It took me a few rounds to get the sequence memorized, but once I did, it was so so fast to work up.

I used Heartland Yarn by Lion Brand in the color, Denali. I first picked up this yarn because the color was so pretty, but it is also ridiculously soft! Sometimes certain yarns will feel soft in the skein, but feel totally different once they are worked into a garment. This yarn is soft and pretty and just perfection, before and after!

I have been wearing this thing all around the house lately, pretending I'm from a Jane Austen novel or something.

I may add these to my shop if there is any interest, so please email me if you would like one!
