Today's little "friday" alliteration is about farm days, rather than friday finds.
We heard about this amazing event that goes on every year at one of the N.C. State agricultural locations. They bring out all sorts of farm animals (lots of baby animals), and have them out for kids to come look at and pet. It was 5 minutes down the road from our house, and completely free!
First, we saw the turkeys. They were quite hideous.
But, the cuteness of the baby chicks made it all better. I tried to get Ande to hold one, but it was kind of difficult since I was trying to help him while simultaneously taking his picture, hense the blurryness.
We got to see a huge bull, a baby horse nursing from it's momma, a little calf, sheep, pigs, and lots of playful baby goats. I was loving the cuteness factor, while Ande was loving the hay and climbing on the gates.
He was just a tad too short to pet that rabbit. Once again, I was trying to hold him up to pet it while also taking a picture of him petting it. Comical.
Here is my favorite picture of all. Can you tell what his favorite part was? That's my boy!
Cute little man. We can't wait to see him.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I love going to county fairs! It is always so fun to see and pet the animals. My kids would love the farm life...me, not so much!
