Get Hooked! {5} Crochet Flowers

I am so grateful for the response I got for my crochet chain necklace pattern last week.
I have a lot of ideas swirling in my head and they don't always turn out the way I imagined.
It is a really great feeling when something actually lives up to all the hype I create in my mind!

So anyways, today's Get Hooked! will show you how to crochet a little flower like the one I displayed in my Crochet Chain Necklace post last week. They are really easy to make and you could even whip up a few for some Mother's Day gifts this weekend! Here is the link to your free pdf pattern:

I added a broach pin and a snappy clip to the back so that it can be used for a variety of things.
When wearing this flower on my chain necklace, I pin it and snap the clip for a little extra holding power.

This pattern also includes directions to add an extra layer of petals to your flower.
I chose to keep my colors uniform, but it would be so easy to add another color as your second layer for a little variety.

I hope you enjoy. Happy hooking!

  1. Thanks for stopping by http://www.bacontimewiththehungryhypo.blogspot.com/

I was just going to let you know that the earrings I made for mother's day had no pattern needed. All they are is a single crochet chain. The longer the chain the bigger the earring. I just roll the chain and glue it to felt with some hot glue. That's it, too easy.

    Happy Cinco de Mayo!
