Crochet Love {easy crochet wash cloth}

Here is a perfect gift idea for all of you diy-ers and handmade gift givers out there!
Crochet wash clothes are so easy to make and fun to use!
They cost less than $10 to make and can be used over and over again.

Download my free pdf pattern here:

(make sure your pdf reading software is up to date!)

Maybe you are a die hard paper towel user...

but around here, we try to be a little more economical by using products that you don't have to throw away and buy new every couple weeks.

Crochet dish clothes are actually so great.
If you use a good cotton yarn, these things are strong and durable, even after several washes.

And if you are still skeptical, they will make the perfect gift for that someone on your list who is just a little more "old fashioned."

I used Lion Brand's Cotton-Ease yarn because I love the soft, yet strong texture.
Have fun pairing some contrasting colors and then package them up nice and neat!

  1. I love these. What a great idea. I love my knit ones, but the crocheted ones are so much prettier. I'm going to do this. I'm also your newest follower. I have a link party called Wednesdays Adorned From Above Blog Hop and would love to have you share this with everyone. It runs from Wednesday through midnight Sunday. Here is the link to the party.

  2. GREAT idea!! I don't know how to crochet, but I have knitted a washcloth for myself. I should really make some more... these may go on my to-make list for Christmas next year! (Haha hopefully that will give me enough time to get on it!) I REALLY try not to use paper towels anymore. The one cloth I have I used a light yarn and it has already turned dingy. How do you keep yours looking fresh and clean?? (Visiting from NewlyWoodwards Dare to DIY!)

  6. I'm going to make these! I saw your link on the Accidentally Wonderful party. I am currently using old washcloths, cloth diapers, and burp cloths. They are getting pretty ugly and it would be so nice to have some pretty ones to wipe up the spills. Thank you SO much for the free pattern.

  9. I love the cloths that are imprinted, but I don't think the pictures/letters
    show up enough to make them. I do like the round ones or the grandmother squares, and they are fun to make.
