crochet love {ear warmer baby crown}

A while ago, I made a pattern for a crochet crown.
Now, there is a new little baby girl in the family that I wanted to make something for and I thought a crown would be the perfect gift.
Little baby crowns are so cute for photo shoots and for dress up,
but I wanted to make something that was also a functional winter accessory.

I decided to take the original pattern and add some rows to make it into not only a crown, but an ear warmer as well!

All I did was add 1 row of double crochets, and 1 row of (1dc, ch 1) to the beginning of the pattern.
This is for a newborn, but if I were making one for a larger baby/toddler I would add even more rows.
If you want to give this a try, and have no idea what I'm talking about, please email me and I can explain it to you in more detail!

I used a pretty ribbon to thread through the (1 dc, ch 1) row and tied a cute little bow.

Now the sweet little newborn baby girl can stay warm and still be a princess!

The original post for this pattern can be found here.
