crochet love {star applique}


Here is a cute and easy little "4th of July" inspired crochet pattern!

Maybe you have some party decorations that you need a festive garland for,
or perhaps you need a quick outfit idea for your little one.


This little crochet star is fun and so, so easy to make.
It's great for using up yarn scraps!


You need:
Scraps of worsted weight yarn
Size J crochet hook
Scissors

1. Fasten on and ch 3. Sl st in first ch to form a loop.
2. Ch 2. 2 dc. ch 3. (3 dc, ch 2) repeat 3 more times. Sl st in top loop of first ch 2 (there should be 5 total clusters of 3 dc).
3. Ch 2. Turn. 2 dc in ch 3 space. Ch 2. 3 dc in same ch 3 space. Skip first dc space. Sl st in next dc space. Skip 3rd dc space. *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch 3 space. Skip first dc space. Sl st in next dc space. Skip 3rd dc space. Repeat from * 3 more times. Sl st in top loop of first ch 2 (There should be 5 points on your star).
4. Fasten off. Weave in loose end!
