A lot of you have probably already heard but a week from today, Curtis will be leaving Ande and I for 6 weeks!
I know, that is a long time.
There is a big trial going on with some of the lawyers where Curtis works. The trial is in Arkansas and they needed a trusty courier to help them out. Curtis is very trusty.
It is going to an interesting experience for our little family.
Luckily, I'll be in good company with little Ande. He's pretty much my best friend besides Curtis, possibly my only friend.
So, to keep myself busy over the next few weeks, I have acquired a new hobby/obsession. I taught myself how to crochet and I really love it. I tried to learn how to knit a few years ago and it took me 6 months to knit about 10 inches of a scarf. I gave that up...but somehow crochet works for me. Curtis and Ande are probably already sick of me crocheting every waking minute. I dream about crochet. Anyways, here is my BFF modeling my newest creation:
I know I'm not the first to experience "single mom-hood" so if anybody has an advice on how to keep from feeling lonely or just afraid a scary monster is going to come in our apartment at night, I'd really appreciate it!
(I added these crochet hats, along with a bunny hat to my Etsy shop. I want to make more animals, any you'd like to see?)
